Got a list? I'll Sort It.

Small jobs. Repairs. Assembly. Carpentry. Garden Stuff.

You know those jobs around the house that you've been meaning to get done?

That shelf that still needs hanging. The door that doesn't quite close properly. Those holes in the wall. The flat-pack furniture that, depsite the instructions, takes at least twice as long as you plan for. Those pictures or mirrors that need putting up.

That's where I come in.

With a qualification and a background in carpentry and joinery from back in the day, a decent collection of tools and a genuine knack for fixing things properly, I take care of the smaller jobs that aren't quite big enough for a builder, but need doing and doing right.

No time? No tools? No idea where to start?

No worries.

Send me a photo, tell me what needs doing and I'll let you know if I can help.

Local to Moorabbin. Small jobs welcome.

A Stud Finder isn't a Dating App . . .

Hanging pictures or mirrors or putting up shelves without the worry of creating an indoor water feature. Easy done.

Don't put anything too heavy in that draw . . .

Doors not quite closing properly, handles coming loose, or avoiding bits of furniture because it's getting a tad sketchy. Problems solved.

If I use it at least 3 times, it's basically paid for itself . . .

Got simple jobs that require that tool you've googled the price of about 20 times? Don't try and justify buying it, let me know.

Just put that laundry basket there, they won't even notice . . .

Holes in the wall or issues you're trying to hide at your next rental inspection? Get it sorted and don't worry about the agent having a nosey.

Remember that Bluey episode called Flat Pack . . .

The instructions always make it sound easier than it actually is, and honestly, 1 tiny allen key to assemble a whole bunk bed? . . Whatever.

About Me

I live in Moorabbin and despite qualifying as a chippy in the UK over 20 years ago, I now work for a charity, spending most of my time behind a desk.

Despite that, I keep busy with jobs for mates and relatives when the inevitable "Matty knows what he's doing" pops up in the group chat. Building a custom outdoor dining table, assembling a pergola, mounting a TV to a wall.

It's all about those jobs that fall in that space between trying desperately to find a builder when you're 99% sure it's not work that they'll even bother quoting for, and those jobs that yes, you could probably do yourself, but is it really worth writing off a whole weekend, or even trying to tackle?

I'm not building an empire, I'm not working towards being a competitor to house builders, I'm putting the skills and tools I have built up over years to use, to help people tackle those jobs that just need doing, and need doing right.

Sometimes it just takes someone who's done it before, knows what they're doing and is happy to work through the little things that make a difference.
